After leading Oregon to a convincing 45-20 victory over Washington on Saturday, Marcus Mariota was named as a Senior Bowl Player of the Week. The Heisman candidate threw for 332 yards on 24-for-33 passing and two touchdowns and lead the Ducks on a 28-3 run to close out the first half against the Huskies.
For Mariota though, the stat line has followed a consistent script week in and week out. He currently ranks fourth in the nation with a completion percentage of 70.2% and is the leader among quarterbacks with a 191.0 passer rating.
In addition, Mariota has thrown 19 touchdowns while throwing zero interceptions this season and has Oregon back in the mix for a spot in College Football Playoff just two weeks after losing its first game.
