LevelUp Arcade is a bar arcade located at 1290 Oak Street in the Downtown Eugene area. Housing a wide variety of machines and games old & new, LevelUp is a hot spot for students and locals to hang out, enjoy drinks and classic bar snacks, and play a multitude of pinball machines, arcade games, and pool. In an era where arcades have long since been on the decline from their late 20th century peaks, LevelUp owner and founder Joshua Docherty tells of the origins and facets of one of the few local arcades in Eugene and the special appeal and importance of maintaining the old school arcade spirit.
