Oregon forward Jillian Alleyne earned Associated Press All-America third team honors on Tuesday.
She joins Maryland’s Lexie Brown, Samantha Logic of Iowa, A’ja Wilson of South Carolina, Oregon State’s Ruth Hamblin and Reshanda Gray of California on the team. There are six members due to a tie in the votes.
Alleyne was an AP All-American honorable mention last season.
Alleyne averaged 18.4 points per game and 15.2 rebounds per game this past season. She started every game for head coach Kelly Graves while averaging 34.7 minutes a game.
During the season, she became one of seven players to reach the 1500 point mark during her career. She currently has 1,637 points with a season remaining for the Ducks.
Alleyne will likely become the school leader for rebounds next season, as she needs 18 to tie Bev Smith’s mark of 1,362.
