In Her Shoes is a mile long walk in which men and women walk in high heels to represent the pain that men and women go through when they are survivors of domestic violence. The event is put on by the Alpha Chi Omega sorority at the University of Oregon to raise awareness for domestic violence. This is the first In Her Shoes walk on campus, however Alpha Chi Omega hopes to make it an annual event after the turnout this year.
