One of the expected highlights of the Ducks recruiting haul this year, Thomas Tyner, has decommitted from Oregon and will take official visits to other schools. The Aloha, Ore., running back is ranked in the top ten at his position by most major recruiting sites and made national headlines earlier this year running for over 600 yards and 10 touchdowns in a single game.
Despite the decomittment, Tyner may still end up in a Ducks uniform. After Duck Territory broke the news last night, Tyner tweeted last night that he was simply trying to learn about his options.
How do I know where I’m truly happy if I haven’t put myself out there yet? Still love my ducks. Gotta do what I gotta do.

Tyner has been verbally committed to the Ducks since last November. He and other recruits will make their choices official on National Signing Day in early February.
