Location: 5185 Trevon St. When: Sunday, Oct. 19 Time: 1:48 a.m. Suspect: John Daniel Bodowitz, 23 What: Officers arrived to the scene where a man was firing shots inside and outside his residence. Eugene Police SWAT team responded to assist officers in detaining the man, who eventually surrendered. No one was injured in the incident. Police seized several firearms from inside the residence, including shotguns, rifles and a pistol. Offenses: Unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a short barreled shotgun
Location: 1209 W. 7th Ave. When: Saturday, Oct. 18 Where: Cricket Store Time: 3:02 p.m. Incident: Robbery What: A man with a red bandanna covering his face pointed a handgun at a woman, and told her to give him all her money. The suspect stuffed all the money in the pocket of his gray hoodie and ran out of the store.
Location: 734 Highway 99 N When: Saturday, Oct. 18 Where: Dairy Queen Time: 4:23 p.m. Incident: Theft What: A man who stole a cake Friday evening returned to the store, and was confronted for stealing the cake by employees. The man began yelling and screaming at the employees who said they videotaped him stealing the cake. Company may press charges.
