On monday, July 21st, the Emerald produced two of the finest articles this year. Sports Editor Andrew Greif and Robert Husseman’s sensitive and passionate pieces on Todd Doxey was superb. Rarely have I read complete and in-depth writings to come from your newspaper.
I never met Doxey in person, but I have heard several comments about him and every one extoled his dedication to football, academics and his relationships with all who came in contact with him.
Through Greif and Hussman, I feel that I have come to know him other than the death of a football player from San Diego.
