Three University of Oregon track and field freshman will begin competition today at the12th IAAF World Junior Track & Field Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland. All three athletes will represent the U.S. junior team.
Jamesha Youngblood will compete in the women’s long jump, joining distance runner Alex Kosinski, who will run in the women’s 1,500m.
On the men’s side, distance runner Matt Centrowitz will run in the men’s 5,000.
