University President Dave Frohnmayer received a salary increase at Friday’s State Board of Higher Education meeting.
Frohnmayer will earn $444,960 next year with the 5 percent increase approved by the Board on Friday, according to the Associated Press.
The president’s salary comes from both state funds and the UO Foundation.
The 5 percent raise will affect Frohnmayer’s overall salary, increasing the amount from both the state and Foundation.
The Board also approved pay increases for Oregon State University President Ed Ray, Southern Oregon University President Mary Cullinan, Western Oregon University President John Minahan, and a bonus for Eastern Oregon University Interim President Dixie Lund, according to an Oregon University System press release.
According to the Associated Press, Frohnmayer earns the most of any OUS president, though each salary increase was of roughly 5 percent.
