Two businesses near campus were robbed at gunpoint this weekend.
On March 2, at 11:45 p.m. an armed robbery occurred at the Neighborhood Market on Hilyard Street and East 24th Avenue.
On March 3, at 9:06 p.m. an armed robbery occurred at Subway at 1720 W. 18th Avenue.  
Two suspects are involved in the Neighborhood Market case. The first suspect used a handgun to rob cash off an employee after entering the market, while the second suspect stood by the door. The suspect with the handgun left on foot east down 24th Avenue, according to a post by the Eugene Police.
The Eugene Police Department responded but was unable to find the suspects.
The first suspect wore dark-colored pants, jacket and a dark-colored hat. He is estimated to be 5 feet, 9 inches tall, white, medium to heavy build and in his twenties. He wore a black bandana over his face during the robbery.
There is no description of the second suspect.
“We’re glad that the victims are okay,” said Melinda McLoughlin, of the EPD. “It’s a scary situation for anybody.”
Two suspects were also involved in the Subway case. Police were unable to locate the suspects, according to a Eugene Police post. The two suspects entered the business and used a handgun to rob it of cash.
The first suspect was described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, 6’ to 6’3” tall, about 180 lbs and wearing a dark grey sweatshirt.
The second suspect was described as a black male, between 5’10” and 6’2”,  about 140 to 180 lbs, and wearing a white sweatshirt and grey sweatpants.
