The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team moved up one spot to No. 6 in the Associated Press poll, announced on Monday.
Oregon beat Colorado on Friday and Utah on Sunday to complete the sweep of the mountain schools and maintain its first place lead in the conference standings. Sophomore guard Sabrina Ionescu picked up her ninth triple-double of her career in the win over Utah as the Ducks played their fourth straight game without starter Lexi Bando, who is out indefinitely with a leg injury.
The Ducks are the highest ranked team in the Pac-12, but not the only team from the conference represented in the top-10. The UCLA Bruins, who currently sit in a tie for second place in the conference, moved up four spots to No. 9 after sweeping the Washington schools.
Oregon State, who also completed a sweep of the mountain schools, moved up one spot to No. 16.
The last two Pac-12 teams to be ranked, No. 24 Stanford and No. 25 California, are both making the trip to Eugene to play the Ducks this weekend. Oregon will get California first on Friday at 8 p.m. before a potential battle for conference first place when Stanford visits Sunday at noon.
Stanford currently sits tied with the Bruins one game back of the Ducks heading into the weekend.
