Preparations continue for the eventual renovation of the East Campus neighborhood, as a home, previously located at 1605 Moss Street, makes its way onto Agate Street with the help of a truck from Ken Marquardt
Construction Inc. on August 29th. The University eventually hopes to use the land between Villard and Agate streets and East 15th and 19th avenues for housing, additional parking and expansions to the Knight Law School. The Fairmount Neighbors Association had concerns about future University developments and increased traffic flow in the neighborhood, but recently came to an agreement with the University that allows the University to move forward with expansion into the neighborhood.
