Jackson, Poore honored by Pac-10
Oregon basketball player Luke Jackson and softball’s Jenn Poore were named Pacific-10 Conference Medal Winners on Wednesday.
Two players — one male and one female — from each Pac-10 school were honored by the conference. The medals are given to the senior male and female based on performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership.
The two will be honored, along with the rest of the conference, at the 2005 Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament in March in Los Angeles.
