The Knight Library at the University of Oregon was evacuated Tuesday afternoon for about 30 minutes after the fire alarm went off. The alarm automatically alerted emergency services and everyone was evacuated until the library could be searched for the cause of the alarm.
Firefighters searched the building and gave everyone the all-clear to re-enter the library shortly after.
No cause was found as to why the fire alarm went off, but operations have returned to normal.
