After 12 weeks of sitting on the sidelines, former Oregon running back and current San Francisco 49er LaMichael James finally saw his first NFL minutes Sunday against the Miami Dolphins at Candlestick Park.
James was placed on the active roster for the game for the first time all season after backup running back Kendall Hunter suffered a season-ending ankle injury last week against St. Louis.

James left an unmatched legacy at Oregon, racking up career totals of 5,082 yards rushing and 53 touchdowns while leading the Ducks to three straight BCS bowl games.
