The Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation, the University’s GTF union, will celebrate the organization’s anniversary this weekend with GTFF-Fest, “a celebration in honor of 30 years of solidarity in representing GTFs at the University of Oregon,” according to the GTFF Web site.
The party for members begins Friday with a “Palooza” in the Student Recreation Center Bonus Room at 7 p.m. featuring live music, food and drinks. Later events will include karaoke and a “critically acclaimed Rocky IV re-enactment.”
On Saturday the “Bonanza” will include a 5-km Fun Run, starting at 10 a.m. at the DeFazio Bridge, and a shorter course starting at 11:30 a.m. for children.
The organization will also host a family cookout for members afterward at Alton Baker Park with music, snacks, refreshments and games.
