The Eugene Police Department released a description of the man it suspects crept into a fraternity and stabbed a chapter member early Sunday morning.
EPD also said the attack likely was not completely random, and evidence suggests the assailant was asked to leave a gathering held by Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity members earlier that night.
The assailant is described as:
? White male, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall
? Medium build
? Some blond facial hair
? Wore a white bandana that covered some portion of his face, a white coat with gray designs on it, black gloves, blue jeans and black shoes
? Carried a black backpack.
EPD identified the victim as 20-year-old Cory S. Fisher. He was released from the hospital Monday afternoon. EPD urges anyone with information about the incident to call Detective Jeff Donaca at (541) 682-5193.
