Summary: Oregon (5-7) will attempt to snap a three-game losing streak at home against BYU (7-4). Eugene will be the third and final stop on BYU’s eight-game stretch at Northwest schools, and the Cougars will look to finish the trip on a high note. Winner of seven of its last eight games, BYU swept a two-game series with Portland and took two of three against Washington. Oregon, meanwhile, has stumbled of late, falling to Oregon State in Corvallis on Tuesday and losing two of three games at Long Beach State last weekend. As a result, the Ducks fell out of the national rankings this week after starting the year ranked No. 15.
Key Stat: Of the Oregon players who have played in all 12 games, only Aaron Jones is batting above .300 (.313). BYU is batting .302 as a team.
