Well, I did it. I survived the onslaught of hate
mail for writing my column ( “Time for action against Iraq,” ODE, Feb.
17).
It’s great how I even received comments from
people in favor of my column. I love hearing both
sides. I like to know that there are people out there
that I speak for.
I have even noticed a little more balance in the
paper lately. We have been having a lot more division
between the sides. We are not all anti-war, nor are we
all pro-war, but it does help that we, as a paper for
the school and the student body, show that we are
both, we are objective.
And it’s sad to say that at times, I believe we may
have beem a little lacking in those departments. But
as of late we have been balancing the weight between
the two.
I know my rants for my blogs don’t ususally run
that long, but hey, I get a chance to rant enough in my
columns throughout the weeks. I don’t want people to
get tired of what I have to say.
