An e-mail sent to students informing them of changes to the way Pit Crew T-shirts will be distributed this year was erroneously sent, said Pit Crew President Daniel Cogan.
The changes were decided upon and the e-mail was sent without the input of the Pit Crew, and while the T-shirts will be distributed through a new system this year, that system had yet to be finalized, Cogan said.
The e-mail, which was sent from the University’s athletic ticket office, states that tickets will be distributed on two criteria: the number of games attended before Nov. 17 and class standing.
The e-mail states, “… if you are a graduate student who has attended all four games available thru Nov. 17, you will have first priority in receiving a T-shirt. We will then move to seniors, then juniors, then sophomores and then freshmen who have attended all four games. The next priority group will be graduate students who have attended three of the four available games and so on thru the remaining classes, then number of games, etc.”
Discussion regarding how Pit Crew T-shirts will ultimately be distributed is ongoing and will be closer to finalization later this week, Cogan said.
