— The Ducks couldn’t convert on a 4th-and-1 and gave Washington State the ball on the Oregon 41. Cougar running back Jamal Morrow scored one play later on a 41-yard reception to give Washington State a quick 7-0 lead.
— Oregon scored a field goal after getting stopped on the goal line. Aiden Schneider’s 20-yard field goal cut Washington State’s lead to 7-3.
