The Beavers are back.
Oregon football announced the renewal of its longtime rivalry with in-state rival Oregon State for four future games on Tuesday. The Ducks and Beavers will meet in 2028, 2029, 2031 and 2032, after missing next year’s game.
The series restarts in Corvallis with a game on Sept. 16, 2028, before back-to-back meetings in Eugene in 2029 and 2031 (per Oregon’s press release, there will not be a game in 2030). The final scheduled matchup is set for Sept. 11, 2032. While schedules aren’t final for any of those years, it appears that the game, which was a longtime November staple before shifting to September with the Ducks’ move to the Big Ten in 2024 and subsequent insertion of the Oregon-Washington rivalry game in the final week of the regular season in both 2024 and 2025, will stay in an early week slot. It’s scheduled as early as Aug. 30 (2031) and no later than the 16th in 2028.
