The bus stop on the southeast corner of Agate Street and Franklin Boulevard will be removed as well as one lane of traffic blocked off starting Monday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. so EmX construction can begin in the area, according to the Lane Transit District.
According to LTD, riders will have to use stops at Onyx Street or Villard Street instead.
Sections of the 44-space parking lot reserved for University faculty and staff are unavailable starting today. The parking lot will be completely fenced off by Monday. The University will redesign the parking lot and restore all the spaces sometime in June.
Franklin Boulevard’s south lanes will be widened over the next several months, making room for east- and west-bound EmX lanes between Agate and Villard streets.
