Oregon senior soccer player Dylann Tharp was named to the All-Pacific-10 Conference second team on Thursday.
Tharp, who played in 74 matches during her four-year career, finished sixth in program history for games played. She only missed four matches during her tenure as one of the Ducks’ defensive anchors.
The San Pedro, Calif., native didn’t miss a match until this season, when she had to sit out four and a half games after spraining her left ankle in a contest against Utah State on Sept. 14.
Tharp, one of two seniors on the squad along with forward Tiffany Smith, started in all but five games during her career, including all 16 matches this season. Her 73 starts ties her for fifth most in program history.
Tharp, who recorded three career assists, is the first Oregon defender to be named to the All-Pac-10 first or second team. In 2006, she was an all-league honorable mention selection.
