Incident: Criminal Mischief
Location: 5321 Jeffrey Way
When: Friday, April 10
Time: 7:48 a.m.
What: A suspect threw a bowling ball at the windshield of a vehicle. The ball was last seen rolling down the street and the caller did not obtain any information about the suspect.
Incident: Reckless Burning
Location: 2341 E. Irwin Way
When: Friday, April 10
Time: 11:55 a.m.
What: A mailbox was blown up with what the caller reported as “some type of bomb.” The caller obtained some materials that were used to blow up the mailbox, but had no information about the suspects, and said the explosion occurred Thursday night.
Incident: Disorderly Subject
Location: Ferry Alley and East 12th Avenue
When: Friday, April 10
Time: 2:36 p.m.
What: One male and one female were allegedly standing on top of a caller’s vehicle throwing trash cans around. The caller also reported that the two suspects were kicking the side of the vehicle.
Incident: Reckless Endangering
Location: 1300 City View St.
When: Friday, April 10
Time: 3:35 p.m.
What: A caller was riding his or her bike along a path and witnessed about three juveniles shooting cans with a small, black handgun. The caller did not witness the juveniles “menace” anyone with the weapon.
Incident: Burglary
Location: 2090 Roosevelt Blvd.
When: Friday, April 10
Time: 4:05 p.m.
What: A caller reported that someone broke into his or her residence and stole a cup and a receipt for a coffee maker. No forced entry into the residence was noted.
Incident: Shot(s) Fired
Location: Amazon Parkway and East 29th Avenue,
Amazon Park
When: Friday, April 10
Time: 10:14 p.m.
What: While a caller was riding his bike along the bikepath near the skatepark at Amazon Park, he “saw flashes of light” and heard a popping noise. The caller thought it was fireworks, but then reported that he noticed the light was coming from someone’s hand. He also reported hearing “bullets whizzing by” him.
Incident: Disorderly Party
Location: East 24th Avenue and Onyx Alley
When: Saturday, April 11
Time: 12:17 a.m.
What: A group of juveniles from a party across the street came and kicked over the caller’s fence. The caller only heard the incident happen, so no suspect information was available.
Incident: Disorderly Subject
Location: East 13th Avenue and Patterson Street
When: Sunday, April 12
Time: 1:08 a.m.
What: A caller “Maced” five males after they allegedly attacked him. The caller reported that he was not assaulted, but reported that the suspects kicked the side of his cab and caused damage.
