Incident: Assault Location: 1328 Oak Patch Road When: Friday, May 15 Time: 11:45 a.m. What: A caller reported that someone purposefully stepped on the foot of the caller’s “bad leg.” The caller was willing to press charges.
Incident: Disorderly party Location: 1863 Kincaid St. When: Friday, May 15 Time: 9:39 p.m. What: About 20 people who were reportedly drinking and smoking marijuana were yelling at passersby, moving traffic cones around the street and hitting a newspaper distribution box with a hammer, a caller told police. Police responded to the call to find the party-goers throwing trash and breaking bottles in a front yard. Two hours later, a dispute between the caller and the alleged disorderly subjects arose. Another caller reported that the party-goers had turned angry and were yelling at the original caller.
Incident: Burglary Location: 1383 Lawrence St. When: Saturday, May 16 Time: 1:33 p.m. What: A caller reported that she awoke to find her front door unlocked, the samurai sword she keeps between two shelves stabbed into a chair, her purse, laptop and phone stolen and her vehicle broken into.
Incident: Disorderly subject Location: Interstate 105 and Interstate 5 When: Saturday, May 16 Time: 2:22 p.m. What: Multiple callers notified police of two juveniles throwing large vegetables from the overpass onto I-5 traffic near Gateway Mall.
Incident: Loud noise Location: 90 Commons Drive When: Saturday, May 16 Time: 11:51 p.m. What: A caller complained of loud noise from a group of about 25 party-goers in building I of Stadium Park Apartments, where some were urinating off the balcony of one of the apartment units.
