Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
Each of the four remaining superstars put on superb performances this week in the opening games of the 2009 NBA Conference Finals. In the West we saw Kobe’s clutch free-throw shooting ability late in the game taking on one of the most effortless scorers in the league in Anthony, which also included the rebirth of veteran point guard Derek Fisher. While in the East we saw Howard lead his team to an unbelievable victory over the stifling hot Cleveland Cavaliers, while LeBron was simply being LeBron.
All four teams put up more than 100 points, with both games being decided by two points or fewer. Needless to say, it’s been another amazing week in the NBA playoffs.
