Hasay was the top-finishing collegian (fifth place overall) in the 1,500m at Payton Jordan, held in Stanford, Calif. Her time of 4:10.28 is the second-best in Pac-10 history and the fourth-best in school history.
The Arroyo Grande, Calif., native shaved three seconds off her previous personal best in running the fastest 1,500m by a Duck in 27 years.
Oregon also showed well at the men’s and women’s 3,000m steeplechase at Payton Jordan.

Steve Finley, a senior transfer from Virginia, set a new personal best of 8:36.98 in a 10th-place finish (best among collegians). Finley’s time is the national leader in the men’s steeplechase and the fastest by an Oregon runner in 21 years.
