Four regional bands will be in concert Saturday at Agate Hall, at the intersection of 18th Avenue and Agate Street. Sweater Club, a six-member ska/rock band of OSU students, The Morning After, Stacked and local favorite and self-described “emo punk pop rock” band One Point Star will be featured at the Cultural Forum-sponsored show. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets, $2 for students and $5 for the general public, can be purchased at the door.
The concert is part of the Cultural Forum’s effort to reach diverse
audiences by showcasing regional bands from Eugene, the Pacific Northwest and the West Coast. These all-age shows are featured in small venues around campus and the community to aid in the development of a more personal relationship between the bands and audience members.
