Oregon gets to fourth-and-3, and will send out its punter for the first time tonight. Fair caught on the 10-yard line.

The Gophers got six yards on their first two plays, but go incomplete on third-and-4 and punt. 9:27 left, Ducks lead 42-13.

Oregon goes 70 yards in seven plays — a couple really nice balls from Dante Moore, including one to Roger Saleapaga — and Jay Harris runs it in from 12 yards out. Ducks have 477 yards of offense on the night, Moore over 300 yards passing for the second time this season (first since Oregon State on Sept. 20).

Minnesota came out of the break with a strong drive for its touchdown, but Oregon went down and scored one of its own via Jeremiah McClellan. Energy is great in the building — and for the Ducks, who will come back to defend a third-and-31 after the break — it’s good vibes during Shout.

Oregon caps an 11 play, 75-yard drive with a ridiculous Jeremiah McClellan back-corner toe drag. It’s the second time Dante Moore has hit a receiver in that zone for a score tonight. Second time a receiver has made a phenomenal play, too. Ducks respond to the Minnesota touchdown drive with a clock-draining, spread out effort of their own. 2:52 left in the half, and it’s 35-13 Oregon after the successful PAT.

With the Gophers moving the ball relatively well, Oregon brought everyone on a third-and-4, but Darius Taylor found a 23-yard hole and got the first down inside the red zone for Minnesota. On third-and-5 from the 10-yard line, Lindsey’s pass is behind receiver Javon Tracy but he reaches back to grab it, evades Ify Obidegwu in pursuit, and gets into the endzone. PAT is good, and the Gophers have double-digit points.

Atticus Sappington gets the crowd pumped up for part two tonight. Kick is away — Koi Perich is wrapped up by Brayden Platt — and we’re going from the 20-yard line.

It’s a dominant first half for Oregon, which really flexed its passing offense and got some explosive runs en route to a nice halftime advantage. Tight end Jamari Johnson really stood out — both as a blocker and with three catches for 41 yards. Oregon is lapping the Golden Gophers at the moment, with 331 total yards to Minnesota’s 94 and 16 first downs to its seven. The 18 net rushing yards for Minnesota (-7 from the Matayo Uiagalelei pressure where Drake Lindsey just took a knee, but no sacks) aren’t a bad look for Oregon either. Dante Moore is 18-20 for 200 yards and a score.

Oregon looked absolutely lethal in its two-minute offense once again. This one included completions to Jamari Johnson and Kenyon Sadiq to get inside the red zone. Sadiq gets his hands on an underneath route and turns upfield — scores, but is ruled down at the 3-yard line and a challenge upholds the call. Oregon goes right back to Sadiq with a throw from the left hash to the back right corner of the endzone, and the tight end gets up to put a foot down. Gage Hurych makes the PAT, and Ducks lead by 22.

Minnesota puts together the longest drive by either side (13 plays, 67 yards) and gets into the red zone off a combination of two defensive pass interference calls and some nice movement outside the pocket from Lindsey. The Gophers, though, fizzle out on the 8-yard line and have to settle for a 26-yard field goal.

Noah Whittington hit the pile, kept going, then broke free for a 40-yard score with a huge effort. There was a little question — looked like he bobbled the ball near the goal line, then it went out the back of the endzone, but official rules that he either crossed the plane first or recovered it in the endzone (not sure which).

Touchdown, Ducks either way.

It looked like Minnesota had the ball on Oregon’s three-yard line after a third-and-10 completion over Dillon Thieneman’s head, but after a review the ball hit the ground on impact. It’s a field goal for the Golden Gophers, which Brady Denaburg rips through the uprights.

Dante Moore threw to true freshman Cooper Perry on third-and-17, who looked to a designed pitch to Dierre Hill Jr (think hook-and-ladder style). The pitch, though, is way behind Hill. Minnesota falls on it, and it’ll have the ball back.

A largely successful opening quarter for Oregon — it’ll be in third-and-17 when it comes back off a 10-yard sack and illegal formation penalty on Isaiah World, but the Ducks moved the ball relatively easily. Kenyon Sadiq didn’t see much action on the second drive, but came back in for a couple of catches on this one.

Minnesota got a completion off Brandon Finney Jr., the true freshman corner who’se been touted as a potential All-American, but a holding penalty and some great pressure on third down from Nasir Wyatt forced a punt. Ducks get the ball back for their third possession of the first quarter.

Jordon Davison is on fire. After a carry earlier in the (four-play) drive, he and Dierre Hill Jr. were in the backfield on the 39-yard line. Hill motioned wide, Dante Moore held the ball in Davison’s stomach for a while after he pulled it for a first down on the play before, but handed it off this time. Davison hit the hole and bent his run away from the safeties — showed off some open-field speed, and punched it in. Ducks up 14-0, with 7:23 left in the first quarter.

It wasn’t the first drive Minnesota would’ve wanted: after a false start on first down, it got four back on a direct snap to Darius Taylor, pitched to quarterback Drake Lindsey and thrown to a receiver. Jerry Mixon timed the snap and jumped to force a quick throw on second down (he’s got awesome instincts, like everyone has been saying), and Lindsey didn’t get a throw off on third down. Malik Benson back for the punt, waves it off. Oregon gets the ball on its own 39-yard line after the break.

Oregon came out in 12 personnel on that drive and used it to its advantage — Dante Moore didn’t face a ton of pressure from a great pass rush, and he completed passes to both tight ends (Jamari Johnson and Kenyon Sadiq) on the drive. Now it’s Drake Lindsey and the Minnesota offense out to respond.

Moore found Sadiq — almost overthrew him, but the tight end ran a great wheel route from the left side of the line towards the left side of the endzone and got down at the 1-yard line. Moore can’t reach from on first-and-goal, incomplete on second-and-goal, but Jordon Davison does what he does on third-and-goal and gives it a fantastic second effort and a Zach Grace push to earn six for the Ducks. Atticus Sappington sends the extra point through, and Oregon leads, 7-0 after less than five minutes.

Dante Moore gets Malik Benson down the right side on a go route for 42 yards. He hit his outside shoulder and it looked tough, but Benson does a really nice job to spin and get a foot in bounds. He beat the corner (Za’Quan Bryan) off the line, and then the throw led him away from safety Koi Perich. Oregon took its first timeout of the half right afterward — not sure what happened there.

We’re through the anthem, kickoff and runouts. Oregon wins the toss, elects to receive and will get the ball to Dante Moore and the offense in just a few.

Kenyon Sadiq warmed up on the field with a coach separately, then joined the team when it ran out for group warmups. He missed last week after being listed as questionable against Iowa — he’s got the same designation today. Alex Harkey is also warming up with the rest of the offensive linemen. That’s big for Oregon, which won’t start backup Gernorris Wilson (out) at right tackle, where Harkey usually plays.

Oregon’s availability report is a lengthy one. Receivers Dakorien Moore, Gary Bryant Jr. and Evan Stewart are all out, alongside tackle Gernorris Wilson, who filled in for Alex Harkey (questionable this week) at Iowa six days ago. Tight end Kenyon Sadiq is also questionable, alongside linebacker Devon Jackson and defensive tackle Tionne Gray.
