Domino’s Pizza has announced plans to construct a new franchise in what was previously the location of the Campus Chicken Shack at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Agate Street, as reported by The Register-Guard.
The company plans to open the new location sometime this spring, in addition to its three other locations in Eugene. The building previously occupied by the Campus Chicken Shack was demolished last month and will be entirely rebuilt within the coming months.
Notably, the new Domino’s location will appear a block away from the long-running Track Town Pizza, potentially causing competition for student customers.
