Oregon’s Stephen Amoako close to completing transfer to Illinois State

Per Matt Prehm of DuckTerritory, Oregon defensive back Stephen Amoako has decided to transfer and enroll at Illinois State.
Currently, Amoako is listed as enrolled on Illinois State’s online registrar, while he is no longer listed on the University of Oregon registrar.
Last spring, Oshay Dunmore, completed the transfer from Oregon to Illinois State. According to reports, Dunmore’s decision played a role in Amoako choosing the RedBirds over other schools.
The former three-star recruit from Arlington, Texas was primarily used as a reserve player. Amoako was not credited with a tackle in 2014.
Amoako is now the second player from Texas that has recently decided to transfer from Oregon.
