The men’s basketball team will play in its final exhibition tonight at 7 p.m. against Div. II Southern Oregon.
The Ducks beat Lewis & Clark last Wednesday 93-55 in their first exhibition game and begin the regular season Friday in the Basketball Travelers Classic against Lehigh.
Last year, the Ducks ended their season with a 15-18 record and finished seventh in the Pacific-10 Conference. Oregon defeated Southern Oregon 75-58 in an exhibition game that year.
This year Oregon has its five starters returning and is picked to finish fourth in the conference by the Pac-10 media poll.
In the win against Lewis & Clark, freshman Tajuan Porter led the Ducks with 29 points, including seven three-pointers. Junior Maarty Leunen contributed 16 points and 20 rebounds.
