Eugene police arrested Larry Wayne Crawford, 45, for robbing a the Selco Credit Union at 299 E 11th Ave. Thursday afternoon.
Police responded to an alarm at the credit union after Crawford passed a note to tellers indicating he had a weapon. Crawford was spotted by a Eugene police officer in Washington-Jefferson Park and detained.
Crawford was later identified by bank employees.
Police are still searching for a man who robbed the Pacific Cascade Federal Credit Union on the morning of June 27.
The man is described as a white male in his late 40s between 5’9″ and 5’11” with a tall, thin build. He has gray hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap backwards, a green long-sleeved shirt with T-shirt underneath and blue jeans.
The man fled toward West 11th Avenue on a bicycle after getting an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with information about this case should contact Jeff Donaca of EPD at 682-5193.
