Take a Minute is a daily post that will catch you up on Internet happenings on campus and around the world.
I’m filling in today for Take a Minute. I’m new here, so be gentle.
Well ASUO Street Faire is in full swing, and you know what that means. Cart food!

It’s unfortunate you have to resort to dorm food when the Street Faire is here, but I’m a broke college student. I’ll clean house tomorrow — Charlie Paull (@ChazMMichaels) May 3, 2012
This is how I feel whenever I decide to try and get some cart food. Like many on the ODE staff I have a thing for those wonderful moving images known as GIFs. For those of you who are wondering about GIFs; PBS recently did an amazing short documentary about the history of GIFs. The video has sparked a small debate between me and some of the other ODE staff. This image summarizes my stance on the issue. Anyone who spends even a decent amount of time on the internet know the “Scumbag Steve” meme. For those who haven’t here is an example. Well, today Blake “Scumbag Steve” Boston posted a music video response to the meme.

It’s good to see that he took it so well. Although I am not too sure if the song is so bad because it is meant to sound like Scumbag Steve wrote it, or if it is just bad.
Thanks for letting me waste so much of your time. Now I am going back to where I belong.
