AIHomeworkHelper Review: Should You Turn to It for Help?
The old days of having to pick your classmates’ brains when you’re stuck on an assignment are long gone. You don’t even have to painstakingly try to google yourself out of a slump anymore. Why? It’s simple: AI tools can answer your questions in a matter of seconds, for free!
AIHomeworkHelper is a new addition to the vast range of AI tools designed to help students get unstuck or verify their responses. Currently in the final phase of development, it’s soon to be available at https://aihomeworkhelper.com/. Even though you can’t use it just yet, the team behind AIHomeworkHelper has invited select users to test the tool before its public launch.
We jumped on that opportunity to review this new assignment helper and see how reliable it’s going to be. Here’s everything we discovered.
What Is the AI Homework Helper?
The tool’s key purpose is already in its name: AIHomeworkHelper is an AI-powered tool that provides answers to homework-related questions. Using it is quite simple; all you have to do is:
- Upload an image or PDF with your question or problem – or paste it directly into the text box.
- Click the button under the text box and let the tool generate a response.
- Get the answer or solution with a step-by-step breakdown!
Unlike a multipurpose AI chatbot, AIHomeworkHelper explains its answers in great detail, step-by-step, to ensure you understand the reasoning behind them. Plus, it’s built specifically for home work help. So, while tools like ChatGPT are trained on a bunch of online sources (including random blogs and whatnot), AIHomeworkHelper relies on a database of reliable, verified academic sources.
To recognize text in images and scanned PDFs, AIHomeworkHelper uses optical character recognition (OCR), which is an AI technology. Natural language processing and generation, in turn, help the tool understand your queries and create unique, tailored responses.
What AIHomeworkHelper Can Do for You
Not sure how you can use AI for homework? AIHomeworkHelper can help you:
- Write essays from scratch
- Edit your drafts for clarity and conciseness
- Solve math problems
- Answer questions
- Explain concepts you’re struggling with
As for the supported subjects, AIHomeworkHelper supports a dozen of them (as of writing). That includes math, biology, chemistry, geography, history, economics, and physics, to name a few. On top of that, this AI homework generator adapts to your academic level, from elementary school all the way through college.
Our Experience with the AIHomeworkHelper
If you’ve ever tried to use any genAI chatbot for homework help, you know full well that AI-powered doesn’t automatically mean reliable or accurate. So, to see if students can actually rely on AIHomeworkHelper, we put it to the test.
To that end, we posed 20 questions for each of these five subjects: math, chemistry, physics, history, and English. Each set of questions contained five questions per academic level (elementary school, middle school, high school, and college).
The AI hw helper fared exceptionally well across all subjects and academic levels. All questions were answered correctly, and the step-by-step explanations were detailed enough in most cases. (A few cases required us to ask clarifying questions, but those quickly resolved any confusion we might’ve had.) What’s more, the explanations were adapted to the corresponding academic level, meaning they were neither too simplistic nor too advanced for it.
Roughly half of our questions were pasted as text, while the other half was uploaded as an image. The tool’s OCR worked like a charm even when we uploaded low-quality photos, which is definitely a huge plus.
Limited language choice was the only downside for us. As of writing, AIHomeworkHelper supports only questions and responses in English.
Is It Easy & Fast to Use?
The whole user journey is as simple as it can be. First and foremost, you don’t need to create an account to use AIHomeworkHelper, which would’ve been a hindrance. So, once you visit the tool’s website, you can get right to posing questions or uploading your problem.
During our testing, the tool returned answers in seconds, working as fast as chatbots like ChatGPT. So, you can get your responses almost instantly. Plus, we didn’t encounter any technical issues with the output generation.
The whole Q&A process is also quite simple and fast. The ability to upload a PDF or image is extremely handy since you don’t have to retype questions or problems manually. Plus, the tool recognizes special characters like math equation symbols without a hitch. (Finding a way to type them manually could easily take an hour.)
Is the AI Homework Helper Free?
In a word, yes. The tool is, of course, free for the invited users while it’s in beta; that’s a standard practice. But the AIHomeworkHelper team also announced that the tool will be free for all users after the launch. So, don’t miss the opportunity to get free homework help as soon as it becomes available!
