Oregon track and field received multiple strong performances from its athletes Friday, the first day of the Rod McCravy Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky.
The meet featured a loaded field, with five of the top 10 men’s teams and seven of the top 10 women’s teams participating.

Senior Eric Jenkins won the race with a time of 13:31.76; followed by senior Parker Stinson (second), senior Will Geoghegan (third) and junior Jeramy Elkaim (fifth). Jenkins final time was the third fastest in school history. Stinson, who crossed the line in 13:38.68, set a new personal record.
