The rankings are in.
Oregon acrobatics and tumbling will start the 2026 season ranked No. 2 for the second time under head coach Taylor Susnara. The Ducks, who received two of 44 first-place votes, landed behind No. 1 Baylor University and ahead of No. 3 Quinnipiac University.
The NCATA uses a coaches’ poll to determine rankings instead of an independent committee for the first half of the season, before the NCATA Championship Committee takes over to release multiple sets of championship rankings leading to the postseason. Last year, Oregon began the season ranked fourth, rose to No. 2 by the first set of championship rankings and held that spot through the postseason.
Oregon’s schedule, as expected, is loaded with ranked opposition. Next week’s opener against Missouri State University is the Ducks’ only unranked opponent of the season — they’ll face No. 1 Baylor home and away, host No. 3 Quinnipiac University, No. 4 Iona University and No. 9 Gannon University, and hit the road for No. 13 Hawaii Pacific University.
Keep an eye on an early-season stretch as potentially the Ducks’ most difficult period of the season: after returning from Missouri, the Ducks host No. 2 Quinnipiac, who were the closest win of Oregon’s 2026 season, before traveling to face No. 1 Baylor a week later. Other than the Bears, Oregon gets every top-10 team on its schedule at home, where it’s been traditionally dominant.
