By 11:26 p.m. most of the crowd had dispersed, though PPB stayed on scene alongside 10 protesters.

At 10:10 p.m. PPB was deployed on protesters following the incidents that took place in the previous update. In addition to those incidents, some protesters were able to rip open the plywood casing around the facility and continued to rattle the gate.

Upon arrival, officers announced arrests would be made as the protest had been declared an unlawful assembly. One arrest was made by bike cops, though the situation is developing.

At around 7:30 p.m. protestors opened the ICE facility gates, prompting PPB to shove protestors away from the gates. At least one arrest was reported today.

Following that interaction, around 8:50 p.m. a protestor climbed up on a wall, tearing down two cameras from the ICE facility.

Around the same time, a confrontation broke out between a protestor and counterprotestor which led to paint and mace being thrown. The counterprotestor was chased out after a smoke bomb was thrown into the crowd.

At 3:30 p.m. Portland Police Bureau officers stopped a black BMW whose driver allegedly accelerated towards a crowd of protestors. According to an officer on the scene, the intent is to arrest the driver of the vehicle. Several protestors could be heard yelling at the driver, accusing him of going over 70 miles per hour towards the crowd.

Around 1:30 p.m. the rally began marching, with one group taking over the Steel Bridge while another marched down SW Third Ave., stopping traffic for roughly an hour and a half. Roughly 4,000 protestors were present.

As the crowd continued to grow into the thousands, several organizations gave speeches including the Industrial Workers Union, Portland Contra las Deportaciones and Indivisible.
