No. 19 Oregon baseball’s April 14 contest against No. 6 Oregon State was postponed until a later date, the schools announced Tuesday.
Although no reason was provided at the time of the announcement, Oregon State released a statement communicating that Tyler Bellerose, a freshman pitcher for the Beavers, is in “serious medical condition.” Bellerose, who attended Huntington Beach High School in Southern California, has yet to appear in a game for OSU this season.
The game was scheduled to take place at newly-opened Hops Ballpark. A new date for the game has not been decided.
