Holman originally signed her letter of intent to attend the University of Florida, but due to the Gators’ coaching change, Holman switched her allegiances. Her mother, Lisa Holman (née Bowyer), played basketball at Oregon from 1995-1999, ranking 10th in the program’s all-time assist charts.
Holman, like her mother, excels primarily as a playmaker, and is 247Sports’ No. 7 ranked PG and the No. 54 player nationally. She joins No. 26 ranked player and No. 1 combo guard in the country Brooklynn Haywood and No. 31 ranked player and fifth best center in Emilia Krstevski.
Holman announced her decision Friday at Chipotle Nationals on ESPN2, but made her decision after an official visit this past Monday.
