After four years as Oregon’s long snapper, Luke Basso is heading to the Mile High City after the Broncos signed him as an undrafted free agent following the NFL Draft. Basso became the Ducks primary long snapper in 2023 after rotating in on extra points as a redshirt freshman. He was named to the All-Big Ten first team in 2024 and was an honorable mention last season.

Basso is joining a Broncos team that won the AFC West with a record of 14-3 and made it to the AFC Championship game against the Patriots. Current Broncos long snapper Mitchell Fraboni has two years left on his contract and has been with the team since 2022. Basso is going to have to really impress the coaching staff if he wants to overtake Fraboni. Since he’s a rookie, he could work his way into the mix solely to cut costs for the Broncos, who could avoid paying Fraboni more at the end of his current deal.

The Ducks’ former blind side tackle is heading to Los Angeles after the Chargers picked up Isaiah World after going undrafted. He was named to the All-Big Ten second team after transferring to Oregon from Nevada last season and was a key part of the offensive line after only allowing one sack from the left side.

World is joining Ducks teammate Alex Harkey in a very deep Chargers offensive line room. He is expected to play tackle for LA, but with star tackles Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater expected to start, World is unlikely to see playing time next season. It should be noted that both Slater and Alt are coming off injuries, which could allow World to compete with backups Travis Burke and Trey Pipkins III leading up to the regular season.

One of the Big Ten’s best running backs is heading to Houston after the Texans picked up Noah Whittington after he went undrafted. He is coming off a phenomenal season, during which he was named an All-Big Ten honorable mention after rushing 129 times for 829 yards with six touchdowns, and had 19 receptions for 98 yards and one touchdown.

He enters a Texans team that went 12-5 last season and finished 2nd in the AFC West. Houston went on a solid run in the playoffs as well, making it to the AFC Divisional Round game against the eventual AFC champion New England Patriots. The Texans have a deep running back room with David Montgomery, Woody Marks, Jawhar Jordan and British Brooks. Despite going undrafted, Whittington has a real shot to break out next season, given that Marks and company were not exactly at the top of their game last season. Whittington will have to compete all season, but don’t be shocked if his usage goes up throughout the year.

Another member of the elite Ducks o-line is heading to the big show after Alex Harkey was selected 206th overall by the Chargers. He came to Eugene after stints at Colorado and Texas State and made an immediate impact at right tackle and was named as an All-Big Ten honorable mention.

Harkey joins a Chargers team that finished second in the AFC West with a record of 11-6. Despite playing right tackle for Oregon, he is expected to transition to guard in the NFL, which means he could have a tough time moving up in a Chargers room which currently rosters six guards.

After a breakout season with the Ducks, Malik Benson is heading to Las Vegas with the 195th overall pick. He came to Oregon after stints at Alabama and Florida State and caught 36 passes for 617 yards and 6 touchdowns alongside nine punt returns for 161 yards and one touchdown for the Ducks.

Benson enters a Raiders team that went 3-14 last season finishing last in the AFC West. He enters a weak receiver room that was in desperate need of options entering this year’s draft. With number one pick Fernando Mendoza poised to take the reins as the franchise quarterback, Benson has the opportunity to be a part of an exciting young core with Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers for the Silver and Black.

“Mr. Eugene” is heading to Indianapolis after Bryce Boettcher was selected 135th overall by the Colts. The two-sport athlete joins his second pro team after being picked by the Houston Astros in the 2024 MLB Draft. Instead of joining the Astros’ organization following that draft, Boettcher chose to return to Oregon, where he racked up 136 total tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss, one interception, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles and rushed once for a one yard touchdown as a senior.

He joins a Colts team that went 8-9 last season and finished third in the AFC South. Boettcher is the second linebacker selected by the Colts this year after they drafted CJ Allen out of Georgia, which means there’s going to be a lot of competition for a starting role next season.

Jadon Canady is the next Duck heading to the big show after being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs 109th overall. The safety was an All-Big Ten honorable mention last season after transferring to Oregon after stints at Tulane and Ole Miss. Canady had 36 total tackles with one tackle for loss, two interceptions, seven pass deflections, and one forced fumble during his time with the Ducks.

Canady enters a Kansas City team that had one of its worst seasons in recent memory, finishing third in the AFC West with a record of 6-11. The Chiefs’ secondary was one of the better pass defenses last season, but Canady has a chance to break through early at safety with limited depth at free and strong safety. Veterans Alohi Gilman and Chamarri Conner aren’t likely to lose their starting roles in week one, but Canady has a chance to compete for a spot at safety or at nickel after the departure of All-Pro Trent McDuffie in the offseason.

One of the Ducks’ best offensive linemen last season is heading to Jacksonville after Emmanuel Pregnon was chosen 88th overall. The standout guard transferred to Oregon after stints at Wyoming and USC and was one of the nation’s best offensive linemen after being named to the AP All-America first team and the All-Big Ten first team.

Pregnon enters a revamped Jaguars team that finished first in the AFC South with a record of 13-4 before losing in the AFC Wild Card game to the Bills. The Jags allowed 42 sacks last season, with veterans Ezra Cleveland and Patrick Mekari holding it down at left and right guard. Pregnon will have to compete for a spot on the Jacksonville offensive line, but he has the opportunity to learn from the veterans in his rookie year.

Standout safety Dillon Thieneman is heading to Chicago after a breakout year with the Ducks in 2025. Last season, he racked up 86 total tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss, alongside two interceptions and seven pass deflections.

Thieneman is entering a Bears team that is coming off of one of their best seasons in recent memory after reaching the NFC Divisional game after finishing first in the NFC North with a record of 11-6 last season. He’s also entering a strong secondary that recently acquired former Seattle Seahawks free safety and Super Bowl LX champion Coby Bryant, alongside former Buffalo Bills strong safety Cam Lewis.

While he’ll have some competition at safety coming into this season, Thieneman has the opportunity to develop his skills with the best of the best on a team with Super Bowl aspirations after their second-round exit in last year’s playoffs.

After a dominant three-year career with the Ducks, Kenyon Sadiq is heading to the New York Jets as one of the best tight ends in this year’s class. During his time at Oregon, he reeled in 80 receptions for 892 yards with 11 touchdowns.

He enters a struggling Jets team that went 3-14 last season and ranked dead last in passing yards with 2,385. The tight end room in New York is one of the weakest in the league, with lead tight end Mason Taylor only totaling 369 yards on 44 receptions this past season after being one of the best tight ends in the 2025 class. Sadiq has an opportunity to take on a big role in the Jets’ offense alongside wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall. 

Sadiq could also see a lot of action with veteran quarterback Geno Smith at the helm. Smith was a part of the Las Vegas Raiders last season, where one of his primary receivers was tight end Brock Bowers, who led the team in receptions and touchdowns.
