The Oregon women’s soccer team was able to sign 10 players to National Letters of Intent, coach Kat Mertz announced Wednesday.
Bayley Bruner, Sofia Chambers, Marissa Everett, Kyra Fawcett, Taylor Kuroda, Malika Markham, Brianne Parsons, Grace Sponaugle, Sydney Van Steenberge and Hannah Wilson will all join the program this fall.
This year’s class includes two defenders, four forwards and four midfielders. Three are from California, three from Utah and one each from Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii and Texas.
The signees will help replace Oregon’s nine graduating seniors from a team that finished 10th in the Pac-12 last season with a record of 7-10-2.
