Spring break is finally here, and Portland is a short two-hour ride away from Eugene. Whether you had no plans of leaving for break or already knew Portland was the place to be, here is a list of things to do during your visit.
Portland Art Museum
The PAM is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with exhibitions like Black Art and Experiences, Inkling Studio: Community and Printmaking in Portland and Conductions: Black Imaginings II, that are worth checking out. Don’t forget your student ID for a discount.
Music Millennium
Before the store is sold, feel the nostalgia of finding CDs, DVDs and vinyls all in one place.

Hollywood Vintage and The Market Downstairs
One of the largest vintage stores in Portland, Hollywood Vintage and The Market Downstairs offer two floors of every clothing item you can imagine. From vintage University of Oregon gear to framed pictures of Cher, you can find anything your heart desires here.
First annual Espresso Martini Month
With 26 different locations, you can fill out your espresso martini passport by grabbing a martini at each one and celebrate the first Espresso Martini Month in Portland. On Sunday, March 29, those stamps become equivalent to one raffle ticket during the Espresso Martini Fest. Plus, you can get a discounted tattoo with your passport at Fuzzy Pits Tattoo.
The Benson Jazz Revival
Hosted every Wednesday at the Benson Hotel, attendees can experience the Dan Balmer Quartet and special guests for an incredible evening of jazz.
The Portland Aquarium: Presented by Mike Bennett Studios
Perfect for any age, Mike Bennett created an immersive experience in the shape of an aquarium. You can also purchase his art at the gift shop, color in some sea otters and get photobooth pictures.

Midtown Beer Garden
Once you start getting hungry, there’s nothing better than getting the food you want. In classic Oregon style, the Midtown Beer Garden is a food truck food court, where everyone is sure to get the food they want.
Portland Skidmore Market
Every Saturday, Portland vendors come out to the Tom McCall Waterfront Park with their food, clothing and knick-knacks. You can eat pierogies while getting a palm reading or Thai street food while browsing the extensive Lafufu vendor collection.

The cherry blossoms
While at peak bloom, the cherry blossoms are a main attraction in Portland every spring. The pink flowers take over the Tom McCall Waterfront Park, bringing hundreds of community members together every day to experience the once-a-year event.

The UO Portland Campus
Now that you are in Portland, why not visit your sister campus in Portland’s Concordia neighborhood? The campus hosts a thinking duck, a campus center with ping pong and foosball tables and plenty of green grass to enjoy the sun on.
