Eugene police continued its patrol of the West and South University neighborhoods as well as downtown Saturday night from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. in an attempt to decrease alcohol- and party-related problems.
Police said there were significantly more party and alcohol-related violations Saturday night, including multiple disorderly party calls in West University.
Twenty-five people were arrested on charges including giving false information to police, prohibitive noise, DUII and open container. They were lodged in Lane County Jail.

- 18 open container (9 University of Oregon students)
- 5 minor in possession (5 UO students)
- 7 prohibited noise (4 UO students)
- 1 false information to police
