Oregon (15-32, 2-16 Pacific-10 Conference) lost all three of its final road games of the season to No. 2 UCLA and No. 4 Washington.
UCLA beat Oregon 8-0 on Friday, holding Oregon to only one hit during the game.
At the plate, the Bruins started with a solo home run in the second inning off Oregon starter Samantha Skillingstad, then scored twice more in the third inning. Skillingstad lasted three innings, striking out three batters, which moved her into sole possession of eighth all-time in UO single-season history with 151.
The Ducks traveled from Los Angeles to Seattle for Saturday’s game against Washington, an 11-0 loss in five innings because of the eight-run mercy rule.
This time the Ducks had two hits, from freshman Kelsey Chambers and sophomore Ashley Kivett, but allowed the Huskies to have 11 runs on 11 hits.
The Huskies scored three runs in the first inning, one in the second and seven in the third inning. Ashlyn Watson led Washington with 3 RBI going 2-for-2 from the plate.
Washington then beat Oregon 8-2 on Sunday for the season sweep as UW pitcher Danielle Lawrie won her fourth game in only five days with a dominating performance of 18 strikeouts.
The Ducks managed to score twice in the second inning after sophomore Cortney Kivett scored Chambers with a bloop single to left field that also scored Skillingstad on the outfielder’s error trying to throw out Chambers at home that was misplayed.
Skillingstad lasted the entire game for her 15th complete game of the season and moved up the strikeout list again into seventh with five more strikeouts.
