Looking to make a little quick cash to cover textbook costs? Why not dig through that box of neglected CDs in the garage and make a quick trip to a local record store?
Several independent stores, on or near campus, accept used CDs for cash or trade and carry a wide range of music on CD, tape and vinyl. Most of those stores can also special order CDs and records for anyone with specific titles in mind.
Whether it’s to buy, sell or trade, you don’t have to wander too far off campus to find a store ready to meet your needs. Some stores even carry hard-to-find videos, T-shirts and posters. And although Green Noise moved to Portland, the remaining local stores still offer a great selection of music to meet most everyone’s likes.
Here is a quick guide to what’s out there.
