Students gathered Sunday evening in Washburn Park for a candlelight memorial to honor former University student Carlene Ho, who drowned in Summit Lake on Sept. 17, only weeks after her 21st birthday. Ho, a senior digital arts major at the University, was an active presence in campus publications, and the memorial in Eugene coincided with a service Ho’s family held in her hometown of San Francisco.
