Former Lane Community College janitor Robert Scott’s accusation of discrimination has been denied by the college following Scott’s $415,000 law suit, according to The Register-Guard.
Scott claimed he had worked in a racist environment that included racist comments from coworkers, among other discriminatory actions. He filed the lawsuit on August 6.
Scott was dismissed “because of his work performance, for not accomplishing his assigned duties, and for taking unauthorized breaks from his work assignments,” LCC representatives said in The Register-Guard article.
