Hi; this old University of Oregon (’69) alum has been reading the Emerald online, and I really enjoy it. Great writing, and good commentary. Keep up the good work. I wanted to comment, to put my 2 cents in, because we oldsters sometimes worry about how the younger generation is doing; I think life is more tough now, than it even was in my day (Vietnam War, etc.).
Just keep in mind, youngsters, sometimes we may be critical of younger people, but we remember how difficult life is; and, in the end, we’d like to help out with our experience rather than criticize you, or put you down. You’re doing a great job with the Emerald; very interesting. Thanks.
